Monsoon Rains in Central AZ

        

Dear Family,

          This week was long but good. 

           We had a good lesson yesterday with a girl that we are teaching.  She has been meeting with the missionaries for a while and wants to be baptized but we are waiting for her father’s permission.  We put her on date for baptism in like 3 weeks or so and we are going to fast to soften her father’s heart.

         Last night we had a dinner with people who had lived in the Provo Peak 2nd Ward.  I had to tell them that both grandma and Janie had passed away.   It was a strange dinner, for many reasons.

         We had a couple huge monsoons this past week and our district was on the ground swimming, splashing, and sliding around in 3 inch deep water in shirts and ties.
